- Okposi Connection: Your declared relationship to the community (e.g. Resident, Diaspora, Family, Work).
- User Content: Photos, videos, post descriptions, comments, and event RSVPs you share.
- Technical Data: Anonymized IP addresses and device headers for rate-limiting and anti-spam protection.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your data is strictly utilized to power the Okposi Digital town square. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We use your information to:
- Display public feeds, local updates, and comments.
- Connect diaspora members with home updates and local businesses.
- Notify you of interactions on your posts and community announcements.
- Prevent abuse, harassment, impersonation, and fraudulent spam.
3. Data Storage & Security
All credentials are encrypted using industry-standard hashing protocols (Blowfish/Bcrypt). Uploaded media is securely stored in isolated cloud buckets with automated MIME validation. We enforce strict Row Level Security (RLS) policies at the database layer.
4. Your Rights & Account Deletion
You maintain ownership of your personal content. You may edit your profile information at any time, delete your posts, or request complete account deletion by contacting our administrative team at privacy@okposidigital.com.
